Food Essentials Great for Skin

Maintaining a healthy diet also contributes a lot to a healthy looking skin. Healthy foods nourish your body with all the vitamins and nutrients it need in keeping it clear and glowing. Healthy food includes vegetables, fresh fruits, fish, mackerel, sweet potato, mango, carrot, spinach and all those that are rich in zinc, vitamin A, omega 3, omega 6 and proteins. You can also blend in fruits such as strawberries, bananas, peaches, pineapples and others to make a fruit juice or smoothie to keep you cool while loading up some nutrients in your body. Pineapple juice or lemon juice can also detoxify your body from harmful toxins. This way they cleanse your body and in effect produce clearer, glowing skin.
Drinking 8 glasses of water or tea a day also helps cleanse your body from toxins and it makes your skin hydrated all throughout the day especially if the climate is very hot. Never get dehydrated. This will cause your skin to dry up. Lemon juice can also be great for blemishes, freckles, acne marks, and dark spots as you apply it on skin. Cucumber can also do well especially on the dark circles around the eyes and other blemishes.
