I am blessed to be able to teach children some of my recipes at ARC for little Chefs. Teaching children how to create their own healthy creations, using lots of vegetables and fruit is a life lesson that I believe is very important! In my classes I like to make it very hands on and fun for the kids! We are going to be making lots of International foods all the while learning about cooking techniques and other skills that are very important for a beginner Chef. We made salsa together and we had a great time!! The children really liked chopping and mixing up their own salsa just the way they like it. I always like to teach children to be creative while cooking and that recipes are simply guidelines for us to use and then we get to have fun by adding flavors that we enjoy and ingredients that stand out to our own self.
